2005 VBS Mission Offering
The offering supported snacks for the
Backyard Bible Club in Church Hill and the Wyoming camps for children.
This year $2,138 was raised by donations given by the children attending VBS
during the week.
The average daily attendance at VBS this year was 420
children,
with 250 volunteer workers each day!Mountain Top Baptist
Assembly
Director Beth Williams writes that the
$2,138 collected through VBS allowed six children to go to
camp on scholarships. Four of the 15 children from this
un-churched community accepted Christ as Savior. A scholarship went to a
pastor's son who could not have attended without it, and
another went to a college student who helped at GA Camp.
Mrs. Williams writes, "We are so pleased that you believe
Mountain Top is a ministry into which you can safely invest
God's resources. We are humbled and greatly appreciate
your seeking God on our behalf."
