The final images show how our visual perception can
hide ugliness, which is similar to how we can hide the ugliness of sin in our
lives from ourselves. Observe the image below. The two faces are
similar, but the one marked "B" looks somewhat distorted, but how distorted?

Did you think that image "B" could possibly look that
bad? This is how God views our sin, with all of its true ugliness.
While our perception of sin can soften its appearance to ourselves, as in the first
image above, our sin cannot be hidden from God. God is very clear in the
Bible on what he considers sin to be.
God sent his son Jesus Christ to
earth to die for our sins, so that we can become right with God. All that
is asked is that we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. In return for this
acceptance of Christ into our lives as Lord and Savior, we are given everlasting
life:
"For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but
have eternal life."
- John 3:16
