Re: Fall Retreat – October 5-7, 2001
Parents & Youth,
I wanted to get a quick letter out to everyone about our Fall Retreat on October 5th-7th. Everything is going along well, and our reservations are set at Camp Eagle Landing in New Castle, VA. Our theme for this retreat will be “Take Me Higher” and focus on going deeper in our relationship with Christ. The main purpose of this letter is to let you know all the details for the trip as we prepare for a great retreat.
We will have a deadline of September 30th to turn in money and forms, and space is limited so the sooner the better. Enclosed are the medical release forms needed by the camp for this retreat. Please return these forms, along with the $75 for this retreat. Remember that the $75 includes everything for the trip: lodging for 2 nights, transportation, all meals (please have each student bring dinner with them or eat before we leave on Friday), and activities at the retreat center.
As for any adults, please consider assisting with this retreat if you are able to - I know it will be a good opportunity for you and for our students. The retreat will include games, recreation, Bible study, fellowship, adventure, group building activities and much more. This may be a tremendous way for you to get more involved in the lives of some of our students. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
