Opportunities - Care Ministries

• Inreach Ministries - The Inreach Ministry Team is responsible for setting up the network that contacts and cares for the church family through the Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study classes.
   
• Family Ministries - The Family Ministry team provides leadership for family care and family counseling and is comprised of Wise Counsel, Grief Support Group, and special needs ministries designed to strengthen Christian families.
   
• Prayer Ministries - The Prayer Ministry Team is focused on the prayer life of the church family and intercession for the community and world missions.  Prayer Teams meet regularly to pray over concerns of the church, individual members, friends, relatives and neighbors, and for those on mission trips.  The groups meet on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings for prayer.  Individual prayer request by the congregation are also addressed during the prayer times.
   
• Human Needs Ministries - The Human Needs Ministry Team provides benevolence for the needs of church members as well as community focused assistance.
   
• Pastoral Care Ministries - The Pastoral Care Ministry Team reaches out to church members and their families who are unable to travel to church and attend worship services.  This team also partners with the Deacon Ministry to assist with the needs of our senior adults.
   
• Parish Nursing Ministries - The Parish Nursing Team leaders are trained nurses who work with other health professionals to promote wellness to church members.  This is accomplished through blood pressure screenings, health information on church bulletin boards, church service handouts, health information in bathrooms, flu shots, C.A.R.I.T.A.S. assistance, homebound visits in conjunction with the Pastoral Care Ministry Team, and CPR courses through the Recreation Ministry.
