Saturday afternoon Preschool Set Up: (There is a detailed list that we can get to anyone who shows and interest. Right now we have once a month positions, but if someone wanted to volunteer to do it once every two months or every Saturday during the month of "----", we can adjust our schedule as needed.) - arrange cribs, diaper pails, and rocking chairs in baby room - place toy bins and hygiene bins in designated rooms - put baby gates in doorways - set labels and nametag boxes on desks outside of each classroom - take chairs down off of tables and arrange them in each classroom - spray tables with Lysol Sunday morning Greeter: - greets visitors at the visitors' table - helps visitors complete registration card - directs visitors to classroom or to Preschool Director - assists parents who do not have their security pick up card with them Toy/Hygiene Bin Maintenance: Comes in on Wednesday evenings and restocks supplies in hygiene bins and wipes down toys in toy bins. Name Tag Coordinator: Goes through the nametag boxes twice a month to make sure the correct tags are in the right box. Update tags as needed. Bulletin Boards: Decorates the 2 preschool hall bulletin boards, 1 large bulletin board in the hall outside B24/B23, and the small bulletin board at the top of the steps by room 213. Several people could fill this role if each one took a bulletin board. Clean Baby/Crawler Toys: Takes the toy bins home and wipes them down with Clorox Wipes (we can provide) and return them to church prior to Sunday morning at 8:30). Classroom Assistants and Teachers: Needed every Sunday morning to help in classrooms. We have openings in classes that need to have a lesson taught as well as for classes that do not need a lesson.

  3/29/2008	Visual Presentation Team Assistance Needed	For more information or to sign up, please call Pastor Glen at 746-2493 or Cindy Beasley (team leader) at 559-5487.	We are looking for individuals who would enjoy being a part of our worship service support team. The team is responsible for running the PowerPoint programs on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:15. We are in need of people who would be willing to serve at these various time slots. Thank You!

  4/26/08	Rec Center Front Desk	Laurie Spiers for Rec Center Front Desk Volunteers	Rec Center Front Desk Volunteers We need Rec Center volunteers for ALL day shifts!!! 9:00 am-12:00 noon 12:00 noon- 3:00 pm 3:00-6:00 pm We had to close the Rec Center several times during the week due to lack of volunteers.   Discipleship Ministry Volunteer Needs:
  1/1/08	Discipleship Facilitators Needed	For information, contact  Wayne Smith	Adults facilitators for short term Bible Studies for men, women, and coed groups meeting on Sunday or Wednesday nights and weekdays are needed.  We have three scheduled start dates for courses: September, January, and April.  Limited courses are provided in July and August. Courses are provided through various ministries of the church, including Men's/Women's Ministries, Member Development, Leadership Development, Outreach, Family Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Stewardship, etc.  If you would like to be a facilitator, we will connect you with the appropriate ministry to schedule the course God has placed on your heart to lead.

  3/29/08	Welcome Center Reception Desk Volunteers Needed	For information, contact Candace Nahodil	A smile for a visitor, a cheerful greeting for a telephone caller and pleasant instructions for a delivery person - these are all very important duties of a Cool Spring volunteer week-day receptionist. Positive first impressions are critical in helping our church make a difference in the lives of those in our community. That's why our receptionists are such important people! Does this sound like a position for you? Our desire is to staff two people a day - 9:00 am to 12:30 pm OR 12:30 to 4:00 pm. We currently have eight very capable, faithful volunteers and three substitutes. If you can't work every week, perhaps you can share with another person.   1/1/08	Prayer Team	For information, contact Candace Nahodil	The Prayer Ministry Team is focused on the prayer life of the church family and intercession for the community and world missions. Prayer Teams meet regularly to pray over concerns of the church, individual members, friends, relatives and neighbors, and for those on mission trips. The groups meet on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings for prayer. Individual prayer request by the congregation are also addressed during the prayer times.

  1/1/08	Re-enroll with Food Lion for Donations to the Cool Spring Building Fund	For information, contact Bette Asbury	If you have a Food Lion MVP card, a portion of your purchases can be donated to the Cool Spring Building Fund.  You have to re-enroll in the program every year by logging on to www.foodlion.com and choosing “Fundraising” or by calling 1-800-210-9569 Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. You will need your Food Lion MVP number (under the bar code on the back of your card or key ring card) and then choose Cool Spring Baptist Church Building Fund.
