Hey everyone!

So I have one week left here in Ecuador, and I'm so sad to be leaving! This summer has been absolutely amazing! I want to thank everyone for your prayers, they have definitely been needed.

I have one more prayer request for this last week: we have two more church groups coming into Ambato tomorrow and they will be here until the 8th, the same day the summer missionaries leave. Please pray that this week they will be used by God to reach the Quichua people...they are not here with IWC, but rather on their own; they have planned their own ministry, and we are all acting as translators and connections to the Quichua people.

Also, all of the summer missionaries went to Mindo, a town about 5 1/2 hours away (in the Jungle region) and spent the weekend there. When we were on a hike up a mountain, we went swimming in a river and I, being the clumsy person that I am, stepped on a big piece of glass and had to get stitches in the bottom of my foot. I'm on crutches now, and it is a big bummer for my last week of ministry here, because I am not supposed to walk on my foot much. Please pray that it will heal quickly so that I can be completely involved in our ministry this last week.

Thank you so much! I'll see y'all soon!

In His Hands,
Jamie
