Hola!
This past week has been so crazy, because we had our
first and biggest group of International World Changers here...there were
about 130 people total, and it was so much work, but it was awesome! There
were many people saved and we had a baptism service for some of the
nationals at the end of the week. Tomorrow our next group comes...this week
is family week, and only about 17 people will be here, which is a BIG change
from this past week, but it will be much more relaxed for sure!
We found an apartment about
the third day we were here, and it is so awesome! It is close enough to
Debbie and David's (the missionaries') house that we can walk, and it's very
close to the Super Maxi, which is like the Ecuadorian equivalent to
Wal-Mart.
This coming week pray that
the nationals we are working with grow closer to understanding their purpose
in God's kingdom, because it is difficult at times for them to understand
that they don't need to do works do be a part of it. Also pray that the
American families get here safely (their flight was delayed a day due to
storms in Houston) and that God will work through them with the Quichua
communities this week. More updates to come in a few weeks!
Dios te Bendiga!
