Prayer Email #8 Update
Sent 7/20/2004
Hey guys! I know
you just heard from me, but I wanted to pass a few praises and prayer
requests your way anyhow....
Praises:
- ACM (that meeting I just went to) was a blast! It was great to be around a
bunch of Americans again and hearing about what God is doing in the different
areas of this country and in Nambia was exciting!
- The guy that spoke the whole week was great, and clearly God had spoken to
him about the messages he was to bring, because they touched all of us. For
me it was a great time of hearing God's word and examining it and being
renewed.
- The area that we stayed in for the meeting was probably the most beautiful
place I've ever seen with my own two eyes. Seeing God's creation was enough
to inspire me to love and serve Him more deeply.
- School starts this week, so we'll be busy again! Although we probably won't
start teaching this week, Grahamstown will slowly be shifting out of its
"holiday mode."
- I got to ride an ostrich! Yay! [see photos!]
Prayer Requests:
- As school starts up again, we'll be trying to do some follow-up at
Ntsika. Please be in prayer for the students who will be meeting with us
for Bible study. We are waiting to see what else God has for us in this
school!
- We are starting over at a new school in Alexandria. I'm excited to
start off on this new endeavor, mainly because it will give me a chance to
learn from the countless mistakes I made at Ntsika! Pray that God guides
us as we go there and that we are attentive to His leading.
- Pray that we will hear from the Lord more clearly about where He wants
us to be working. I know there is so much more that can be done here, and
its so important that we go where God is as work!
OK, thanks again for your prayers and
encouragement. Please feel free to write anytime and let me know what all is
going on in your part of the world!
For God’s Glory heather :-)
