Heather returned home
October 28, 2005!
She spoke about her ministry abroad on Wednesday night,
November 9th, from 6:15 to 7:15 pm in the Sanctuary. This is her
last email, sent October 23rd:
Hello guys! This will be a quick one, cause its
currently 1:30 a.m., my friends just left a bit ago (except for
Bronwen who is furiously packing my stuff) and I can't see my bed or
my floor. Before I run off to Cape Town and then leave South Africa, I
wanted to write you all a short note of thanks for your prayers and
just give praise to our awesome God for answering them so faithfully.
This past week had been a most difficult one, but
filled with such intimate times with the Lord as He has strengthened
me and helped me say goodbye to the people here that I love so much.
He has given me just really sweet times with my friends and really
meaningful goodbyes and a peace that could only be from Him as I go.
Thank you so much for your prayers! I leave in the
morning for Cape Town, and I'll be there until Thursday. I fly out
Thursday evening, have a layover in Germany, and then arrive in
Richmond at 8:45 p.m. on Friday. I look forward to catching up with
you on that side!
in Christ's love and for HIS glory,
heather :-)
