Community Bible Study

Tuesday Evenings

Cool Spring Baptist Church 


Community Bible Study (CBS) is an interdenominational, in- depth Bible study and welcomes people from all backgrounds and levels of Bible knowledge.   CBS includes weekly lessons, small group (core group) discussion of the lesson, a 1/2 hour weekly lecture, and periodic fellowship times during the year.

“The mission of Community Bible Study is to make disciples of Jesus Christ in our community through caring, in-depth Bible Study available to all.”

Beginning on September 11th, and during the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms of 2007 - 2008, we will be studying Ephesians, Philippians, James, 1st & 2nd Thessalonians and 1 John. .  CBS meets at Cool Spring on Tuesday evenings, usually from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.  CBS follows the school schedule, and generally meets from September through May.

There are currently separate groups for women, men, middle school teens, and senior-high teens. Join us to learn what Community Bible Study is all about!

Community Bible Study begins on Tuesday, September 11h, at 6:30 pm in the following locations at Cool Spring:

Women: New Fellowship Hall
Men: Sanctuary
Teens: Room B64

There will be an informational Community Bible Study Open House on August 7 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Cool Spring.

The fellowships are usually combined with the
women's CBS group.
 

On a fellowship night, the men's, women's, or teen
study leader will give a combined lecture to the
men's and women's groups.
