The Administrative Ministry of Cool Spring

     The Administrative Ministry functions to develop, organize, and direct an effective and balanced ministry of administration consistent with the mission statement and philosophy of Cool Spring Church.

      Larry Frakes is the Senior Pastor of Cool Spring Church, and is the Administrative Ministry Coordinator.

     This page includes information specifically about:  

• Financial Ministries - The Financial Ministry Team is charged with leadership of stewardship, endowment, tellers, and auditing.  This team prepares and submits an annual budget based on the giving ability of the church and on the objectives and goals approved by the Ministry Coordination Council.  They assure that there is effective budget administration, and plan educational and promotional events to instruct members in biblical principals of stewardship.
  
       Tellers open church envelops and record all monies received in the church offerings.  They also deposit money in the bank approved by the Stewardship Ministry Group.  Auditing tasks include performing an annual audit of the financial ministry of the church.
  
       The Stewardship Education Group, through Crown Financial Ministries, equips people to implement Biblical principles of stewardship.
   

• Support Ministries - The Support Ministries Team is made up of two groups: Personnel and Governing Documents.  The Personnel Group administers personnel policies and procedures adopted by the church and recommends staff needs, job descriptions, and personnel services.  They also assist in the volunteer services as needed to support staff needs.  The Governing Documents  Groups maintains the Mission, Vision, Values Documents, Ministry Team Structure Document and other documents that give structure to the church.
   

• Welcome Center - The Welcome Center is staffed by volunteers who greet visitors and answer the telephone during church office hours.  Each volunteer works one half day shift each weeks.  They also assist support staff as needed.
   

• Ministry Placement - The Ministry Placement Ministry is involved in the identification, education, and mobilization of individuals in the church for ministry roles.  This includes assisting Ministry Team leaders in seeking God-called persons to fulfill ministry roles, and seeking out potential leaders and encouraging them to become involved in ministry opportunities and training.
   

• Technology Team - The Technology Team is comprised of Data, Voice, Audio/Visual, Infrastructure, and Website groups.  They are responsible for approving, budgeting, and purchasing technology items, technologies planning, architecture of technologies, vendor coordination, solicitation and purchasing of equipment and services, maintenance of technology equipment through vendors and volunteers, establishing and enforcing technology standards and file warranties, manuals, instructions, and contracts.  The Data Team provides support to the staff by maintaining PCs, laptops, server, and the software, network and internet that provides communication and storage of information.  The Voice Team provides support to the staff through voice communication media; phones, cell phones, walkie-talkies, and PA systems.  The Audio/Visual Team develops and maintains the many sound and visual systems used in Worship and Discipleship throughout the church.  The Infrastructure Team provides for all of the wire and wireless connections for Data, Voice, and A/V/  The Website Team provides communications through the development and maintenance of the church website.
   

• Strategic Planning Team - The Strategic Planning Team organizes and implements activities and plans that assist the church in understanding and participating the vision that God has for Cool Spring Church.
