Stewardship is every individual's challenge to commit to serving the Lord through the donation of his time, talents and resources. This service furthers the Lord's work in our community and throughout the world.

Financial support of the church by its members is key in carrying out God's plan for the church. This financial support allows the church and its staff to minister effectively to its members and the community, as well as furthering the building plans of Cool Spring. Jesus Christ looked favorably upon the donation of financial resources to the church in His Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 6:19-21 and 6:24 (above).
 

Forget to write a check this week? Leave your pink envelope on the kitchen counter again? Never fear, we have an electronic giving service available to help. This is a FREE service for our members that you can set up at your convenience.

Cool Spring Church has a secure E-Giving site which makes donating a breeze. It is simple to set up your account with a username and password, and then you can donate securely via credit card, debit card, or even directly from your bank account. You can even designate the type of donation (general fund, building fund, etc.).

You can set up regular interval donations to be made automatically, and you can request donation reminders to be sent by Email. You can view past donations made online as well.

• Request Offering Envelopes
  Cool Spring provides convenient offering envelopes in monthly mailings to members and regular attendees. Using these envelopes helps promote consistent giving, and it helps the Church Financial Ministry keep accurate records of your giving for tax purposes. If you are not currently receiving offering envelopes in the mail but would like to, please click here for the Financial Coordinator.
   

• Food Lion MVP
  If you have a Food Lion MVP card, a portion of your purchases can be donated to the Cool Spring Building Fund. It is time to re-enroll for 2010. You have to re-enroll in the program every year by logging on to The Food Lion Shop and Share Site or by calling 1-800-210-9569 Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. You will need your Food Lion MVP number (under the bar code on the back of your card or key ring card) and then choose Cool Spring Baptist Church Building Fund. Questions, call the Financial Coordinator at 746-8971.
   

• Newspaper Recycling
  Please bring your NEWSPAPERS to the recycling bin located in the parking lot by the cemetery fence. All proceeds go to the Cool Spring Recreation Ministry and the Gospel Jail Ministry.
   

• Donating Stocks or Mutual Funds
  If you are interested in giving stock or mutual fund gifts to Cool Spring, please call the Financial Coordinator for more information. Gift requests of mutual funds and/or physical stock certificates must be received by early December of a given tax year. Gift requests of stock delivered via the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system must be received by later in December.
  
  The deadlines identified above are applicable to requests which are received in good order - incomplete requests and/or those received after the stated deadlines will be processed on a best efforts basis.
