We toured the Heritage Gallery of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society located at the heart of the beautiful campus of the University of Richmond. The story is told in an inviting and informative gallery filled with artifacts, photographs and documents. The walls are covered with 36-panel murals with scenes that depict the struggle to secure religious liberty and other events in the life of Virginia Baptists.

After lunch in the University of Richmond’s fabulous dining facility, we walked by the lake to the Lora Robins Gallery. This natural sciences and decorative art museum, with over 100,000 pieces ranging from Jurassic dinosaur fossils to rare gems and minerals, dazzled us.
