We enjoyed some autumn memories at Monticello, the extraordinary home of Thomas Jefferson built overlooking Charlottesville. The visit included a 30-minute guided tour and plenty of time to explore the grounds and the new Visitor Center. Box lunches were provided by Café Monticello. The second stop was at the Carter Mountain Orchard "Apple Barn."
