The Cool Spring Travelers visited historic St. John's Church where Patrick Henry gave his famous speech. They stopped at the Visitors Center to view the permanent exhibition and gift shop, and proceeded to Bottom's Up Pizza for a buffet luncheon.

After lunch they walked to a private Richmond Historic Canal Cruise where their captain shared tales of the city's waterways and dynamic history. During this hour long journey, they explored Shockoe Bottom and the city's past including the famed "Triple Crossing" - the intersection of three key transportation routes.
