THIS
WEEK'S EMAILED COOL SPRING COURIER (5/17/2013 -
5/24/2013)

Children's Ministry Sunday is this week and the children of Cool Spring will take a role in worship leadership. You'll see them ushering, singing, praying and reading during the services. You'll hear from our Children's Associate, Shane Standlick, about the Children's Ministry at Cool Spring. I'll wrap up the morning with a short challenge for parents and grandparents from Deuteronomy 6. It's going to be a fun weekend.
We are attempting to raise approximately $24,500 over the next several weeks for specific technology and visual updates at Cool Spring. With the launch of a new venue in September, we need to purchase new equipment such as a camera, projector, screen, cabling, computer and software. The new service (our Growth WIG for 2013) will feature live music and video teaching. Additionally, we are trying to upgrade the visual component of our worship experience at both 8:30 and 10:00 with the installation of a 24-foot screen serving as the background for the platform. The visual upgrade will enhance our ability to teach, create and lead on Sundays. Both projects are in consultation with a media design company and the total cost is $36,000. To date, $11,500 has been given toward the projects, leaving a balance of $24,500 - our target for our fundraising effort. Would you consider helping us raise the necessary funds by Sunday, June 23? Please note this project is supported over and above our normal giving to the general budget at Cool Spring. I want to thank you ahead of time for your generous participation.
Stop by Connections Coffee this Sunday. Follow the signage in the foyer to the Mission Café. The Middle and High School Mission teams will have a bake sale this Sunday from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon. All proceeds will go directly to the cost the summer mission trips. Additionally, all Connections Coffee net proceeds go directly to Student summer missions. When you grab your coffee and baked goods, pull up a chair at one of the booths or tables and start a conversation.
How's the Bible reading going? Keep reading!
Grace,
Brad
