A Word from Brad...
Sunday is a big day!
The long awaited
Branding Team
Presentation is this
weekend. In each of
the three services
(8:30, 10:00 &
11:15), the team
will present and
explain the brand
concept. The brand
is our identity.
What is unique about
Cool Spring? This is
about our
distinctiveness and
what we are trying
to communicate to
those around us.
You'll discover the
team's timeline, the
process and get a
glimpse at the final
product. This is
just the beginning.
Where do we go from
Sunday with the
brand? Post
presentation, we'll
begin an intentional
process (over the
next several months)
of updating all
media. Included with
this update is the
establishment of
brand guidelines to
help maintain the
Cool Spring brand.
You're going to like
what you see.
This Sunday is part
two in our series
"Family Matters." We
will look at the
importance of
Honoring
Relationships. How
can I respect the
relationships in my
family? Why should I
honor my parents?
Why does God place
such an importance
on my family
relationships? Can I
truly live in
relationship without
regret? We'll look
at some of these
questions and others
this weekend. Romans
12:10, Colossians
3:10 and Ephesians
6:1-4 are our
primary texts for
Sunday. I'm exited
about the message,
and I'm looking
forward to sharing
it with you.
See you Sunday,
Brad

2012 Association
Missions Offering
May 13 - 20, 2012
Dover Baptists
observe Association
Missions Week every
year in May to
inform the churches
about the role and
work of the
association. We also
use it to call
attention to and
connect Dover
Baptists with a
variety of local
missions and
ministries. Dover
Baptist Association
provides resources,
counseling services,
leadership training
and many other
services that help
our churches. Dover
congregations give a
portion of their
regular offerings to
fund most of the
association's
ministries. This
special offering
supplements and
helps to support
more ministries and
mission efforts, not
the association's
budget. More than
two dozen ministries
will benefit from
this year's
offering. Prayer
guides are available
in the Welcome
Center and
Sanctuary.
Dover Association
Goal for 2012:
$28,700
Cool Spring Goal:
$2,500
