Upward Basketball and Cheerleading 2008
The Upward Basketball League seeks to develop character in every player by providing an equal opportunity for improvement, while stressing sportsmanship in every situation.

Information about Upward Basketball and Cheerleading 2008

Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:

  • A substitution system that promotes equal playing time for each player.

  • An evaluation process to provide equal teams and equal opportunity for improvement.

When you play Upward Basketball, you and your friends:

  1. Sign up individually, not as a team

  2. Practice and play a game once each week

  3. Get equal playing time every game

  4. Will learn new drills to improve your basketball skills

  5. Will receive special recognition awards every game

As a participant in Upward Basketball each child will receive:

  1. Upward Basketball Jersey

  2. Upward Basketball T-shirt

  3. Upward Basketball Shorts

  4. Upward Basketball Car Magnet.

  5. End of the Season Award

When you cheer for Upward Basketball, you and your friends:

  1. Sign up individually, not as a squad

  2. Practice and cheer for a game once each week

  3. Get equal playing time every game

  4. Will learn new drills to improve your cheerleading skills

  5. Will receive special recognition awards every game

As a participant in Upward Cheerleading each child will receive:

  1. Upward Cheerleading uniform

  2. Upward Cheerleading mock turtleneck

  3. Cheer poms and megaphone.

  4. Individual Awards after each game and practice.

  5. End of the Season Award
