COOL  SPRING  CHILDREN'S  MINISTRY:  OVERVIEW

From birth through kindergarten, children are introduced to the Christian faith through age-specific hands-on activities and learning experiences.

For elementary age children, the church is of major importance in providing positive opportunities  to learn of Jesus Christ, to study His Word, and to come to a personal knowledge of His redeeming love.

Through caring Christian teachers, our elementary age children participate in bible Study, missions and music groups, Vacation Bible School, fellowships, discipleship groups, and other activities throughout the year.  All of theses activities provide a foundation of Christian beliefs which will last a lifetime.

There is a specific Preschool Ministry for children age 5 and below, Sunday morning G-Force for grades 1-3, and 4th and 5th grade Sunday morning Bible studies.

AWANA is offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:45, and includes children from age 3 through 5th Grade.

PRESCHOOL  MINISTRY
From birth through kindergarten, children are introduced to the Christian faith through age specific hand-on activities and learning experiences. This helps to establish a foundation to be built on in future years.

Preschool Activities are scheduled throughout the year, often corresponding with adult activities. Child care / nursery is usually available for children age 5 and below during seasonal adult activities, such as Christmas and Easter evening performances.

A Baby Dedication Service in the Spring represents a commitment from the parents of young children to raise them in a Christian home, helping them to grow toward faith in God.

AWANA is available on Wednesday evenings for Pre-school children beginning at age three.
ELEMENTARY  AGE  CHILDREN'S  MINISTRY
For elementary age children, the church is of major importance in providing positive opportunities to learn of Jesus Christ, to study His Word, and to come to a personal knowledge of His redeeming Love. Through caring Christian teachers our elementary age children participate in Bible Study, mission and music groups, Vacation Bible School, fellowships, discipleship groups, and other activities throughout the year. All of these activities provide a foundation of Christian beliefs which will last a lifetime. Regularly scheduled children's activities include:

Children's Sunday School at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
Worship Service with parents at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:15 a.m.
(Child care during Sunday 11:15 worship service for babies – age 5)
Children's music and Choir on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
AWANA on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m.  Click for More Information.

G-Force (God’s Force) provides children opportunities to build relationships with Christian adults; be involved in fun, high-energy Bible study experiences; and participate in praise and worship with other children.

What’s involved in G-Force? As soon as the children enter the room, they are involved in interactive activities called Ignition. In Velocity, they move to exciting and fun music to help them learn the main point and memory verse for the session. They also experience the Bible story through drama, props, and other creative methods while building relationships with their captains and friends. In PowerCel, the children and captains transition into small groups for personal application of the main point, the Bible story, and the memory verse. Finally, the children and captains have Re-Entry for an exciting review of what they have learned through out the session.

G-Force is offered at our 8:30 and 10:00 Bible study hours for 1st-3rd grade. Children meet in the New Fellowship Hall.

4th & 5th Grade Bible Study – Bible study is offered to 4th & 5th grades at 8:30 & 10:00 on Sundays. A more traditional Sunday school, students learn scripture and life application while building a relationship with teachers.
