Senior Pastor Job Posting
We are searching for a
Senior Pastor to shepherd our 2000+ member church in the rapidly
growing northern suburb of Richmond, Virginia.
We are Biblically Conservative, gift-based, and a member of both the
Southern Baptist Convention and the Baptist General Association of
Virginia, with a heart for the unsaved and unchurched. We have both
contemporary and traditional styles of worship, very capable support
staff and leadership teams, and place a strong emphasis on mission
action.
We believe that God’s man will: Meet the traits of a pastor as
listed in 1 Timothy and Titus 1; Have proven organizational and
leadership skills and be able to guide and direct the vision of our
church as a consensus builder; Be a seminary graduate with at least
ten (10) years of practical experience and have a Southern Baptist
background; Be a knowledgeable teacher, articulate speaker with a
strong pulpit presence, and believe the Bible is the Divinely
inspired Word of God.
