Today on the podcast, we have a conversation with Dr. Brad Wilcox, Director of The National Marriage Project and Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia on marriage, parenthood, and what research tells us makes for a happy family.

Brad is the Director of the National Marriage Project and Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia and a member of the James Madison Society at Princeton University. Brad’s research focuses on marriage, parenthood, cohabitation, relationships, and the stability of the family. He is the author and co-author of several books and articles related to gender and parenthood, the causes of and consequences of low fertility, and how Christianity shapes fathers and husbands. Brad is currently writing a book entitled Soul Mates: Religion, Sex, children, and marriage among African Americans and Latinos.
